EVALUATE HEALTH PLAN CONTRACTS
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or not, physician practices still have to decide for themselves how to deal with health plan contracts. Summer is a good time to study the question and make decisions before employers’ annual open-enrollment deadlines, many of which are in the fall. Physicians or practice managers should examine contract profitability and payer mix to make informed contracting decisions. Need some quick instruction on a simple way to do that? Join a short TMA lunchtime webinar on July 9. Log on to the TMA Education Center to register. And if you’re looking for an easy way to get continuing medical education, visit the CME page on our website.
