NPI-ONLY RULE CREATING HAVOC ON CLAIMS
Since the May 23 deadline to submit Medicare and Medicaid claims with National Provider Identifiers (NPIs) only – no legacy numbers – state and federal officials are reporting a large number of physicians’ claims are being rejected.
